John Finch, founder of the non-profit The Perfect Father, has a heart for fathers and the incredible impact they have in their children’s lives. Drawing on his own life experiences and sharing the stories of other fathers and children, John hopes his documentary – The Father Effect – will highlight the significant impact fathers’ words and actions have in their children’s lives and inspire all men to be better fathers and father-figures in the lives of their loved ones.
John’s project is now seeking funding via Kickstarter, a website that allows people all over the world to help fund thousands of different projects with donations starting at just one dollar. ONE DOLLAR – you can probably find one dollar just lifting up your couch cushions. You can pledge any amount to support the Father Effect and pledges are not finalized unless the Father Effect reaches its $100,000 goal by February 20th. Please consider giving – just a few dollars by a few people can add up! If you are unable to give, please share this post with others.
This project has already included such a great collective of work from friends, including photography (above) from Meshali Mitchell, trailer by Four Story Creative, and support from writer Guy Delcambre – who chronicles his own story of being a single father to three young girls on his blog. Please keep John, his family, and his project in your prayers – that God would provide for the making of this documentary and use it to impact fathers and the fatherless around the world.
