It’s been a while since we’ve shared a reception highlight and we thought this would be the perfect one.
Elaine and Adam’s gorgeous reception was at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel. The decor was beautiful, not that we expected anything less. The team at Jordan Payne Events is always spot-on. Not only are they excellent at communicating with everyone throughout the entire wedding day but their decor and floral is always flawless. We absolutely loved the romantic feel of the blush roses and hydrangeas in the floral arrangements, and all the gold accents added the perfect touch. The detailing on the cake was beautiful and everything just came together so nicely in the room to compliment it, but not over-power it. For those of you who know and/or have worked with Jordan, you know this is only the tip of the iceberg when it come to what she can pull off. We also loved that Adam and Elaine had caricature artists, as opposed to a photobooth. What a fun keepsake!
We picked this song because we think it perfectly describes Adam and Elaine. At first glance, they seem like they’re just silly, cute and like to have fun. And while all those things are true, we also think that deep down Elaine really does “disarm” Adam. She brings out that lovey-dovey side of him that we don’t think many people see, and there is something so sweet about the way that he looks at Elaine when he thinks no one else is watching. Seeing Adam just live it up at their reception was one of my favorite parts about their wedding.
If you watch very carefully there is a quick clip in this reception highlight of a little lady – wearing a black dress – that is about to make her film debut in our upcoming post. She’s kind of hiding in this highlight and we don’t think she’ll remember it, but we guess this was actually her “technical” film debut. Her name is Ellie and we can’t wait to share her and her parents’ story 🙂
